Faeling Revolution has four separate and fully optional factions. These factions make up the underlying politics and tensions of the world, without government intervention or control. They are:
The Fae Alliance: The Fae Alliance is the advocate for peace between the Fae races and the humans. They're for equality for all and strive to keep the balance. These are the advocates of peace.
The United: The United also known as Cresthallow United are the group of humans that are for human superiority and the belief that the Fae should be under the rule of the humans and they need to pay for the war they believe the Fae caused.
The Protectors: The Protectors, deprived from the original guard of the fairies from before the time a majority of their lands fell: The Protectors of the Realm. To this day the guard still exists, but in a much smaller number. They have sworn to protect the Fae at all costs. Despite them for the Fae, they abide by their Queen's ruling. When there's an option between the Fae or the Human, they always choose the Fae's interest above all else.
The Ni'sah: Ni'sah was the original name of the homeland of the pixies. Despite the homeland having been lost and mostly logged down and occupied by humans they still believe they have a rightful claim to their lands. The group uses the name of their homeland and often shouds "For Ni'sah!" are those for pixie superiority and wish to drive the humans from their lands. This was also the group responsible for the battle of Cresthallow's capitol having successfully taken the central part of the city and the seat of power for the humans.
Neutral: The neutral are the bulk of the population, who does not join one of the above factions. These are the people just living their lives, not caring much about the politics, or a strong sense of any such cause. They're simply neutral in the fight.
