The Plot and Setting

It is currently 2014 on Faeling Revolution. The game takes place within the boundaries of Cresthallow, a human city and the boundaries of the Fae Kingdom. For the exact date estimate please check out the Calendar for Time Jump listings and weather reports.


In the year of 1986 a group of humans ventured deeper into the forests than any human had ever been before. The humans ventured onto a fairy ring and witnessed a celebration of the fairies and pixies. All sides were shocked, the fairies and the pixies froze within their celebration of the autumn equinox fully knowing they have all spent their entire lives avoiding contact with the humans and their world. The humans went forward to give a closer look at the small creatures that fled in all sorts of directions. One after another the fairies flew away while the pixies sprinted off to the tree line.

A few of the small humanoids were captured and brought back to the city for study. The college students that discovered the creatures hit worldwide news. The forests were becoming swarmed with expeditions to find the little people and their homes. Some politicians argued that these new species must be protected and this forest may be their only home. Logging came to a halt by government intervention, but the invasion of the forests continued.

The Fairies and the Pixies debated for just over a year until they decided to take action on the autumn equinox, the one year anniversary. Just under an hour the Fae have launched their attack onto the universities holding the hostages for study. Prince Casmir, a Faeling (half fairy and half pixie) and next in line to the throne of the Fae realm discovered several of the captured were killed for study. He was furious and used their magic to break out the survivors to return home.

War broke out after this battle. A few humans attacked the forest back by starting a fire. Human politicians ordered the capture of more of the Fae for study; they came in ever increasing numbers, trampling the forest, destroying trees, capturing animals. The fire spread to a pixie settlement, destroying it and claiming more lives. The pixies were enraged and attacked back without remorse, striking down any human they came across until they reached the capitol building within the human city. The fairies heard the news of this attack and joined in.

The path the pixies took through the city had an invasion by the forest foliage growing in the pathway and consuming the capitol building. The fairies stopped the troublesome pixies and dragged them back to their realm. A Faeling stayed behind with his personal guard, Prince Casmir. Prince Casmir had spoken up declaring who he was in a famous quote as it was televised to the world that winter of 1987:

The humans attacked back after three months, venturing into the forest. The war escalated back and forth until the year of 2007 when Prince Casmir was slain in battle. Queen Celeste broke back in range, the Fae stood behind her unanimously to call to an end to this war as they were a peaceful people. They have lost much, and much of their forest had been overtaken by an expanding city in war efforts. She used magic, a great deal of magic upon the borders between the city and the forest to equalize.

Those that now cross the border would become equal to the size of the other, without help of a fairy spell. Queen Celeste met with human politicians and came to a compromise. The war was ended. Both sides were open to trade, culture, and peace. Hopefully. With the loss of her son, the Fae begun to reject the fairy idea of peace, but most stood behind it splitting the united races slightly.

Casualties over twenty years of war were high. Many human, fairy, and pixie lives were lost. Yet, new life was discovered. Like the Faeling (half fairy, half pixie) a handful of halfie children (half human) were born and are now entering the adult world to have an effect on their two worlds. Tensions are still strong despite it having been seven years since Queen Celeste ended the war. Both sides are recovering, but are bitter. There are still small skirmishes and groups hoping for the superiority over another.

It is now 2014. Are you a human, fairy, pixie, faeling, or halfie (half human)? What is your destiny? Do you fight for the sovereignty of the Fae? The domination of the humans? Or an advocate of peace? This is your world. Your politics.


The humans have used gold, silver, and bronze for the longest time when it came to trade. The fairies commonly bartered, while the pixies used shiny stones. As the humans and the Fae merged the currency is as:
